My wife just called and said this is all over the news here.  Apparantly someone set a fire and wiped out a relay station at Chambers Street (Manhattan).  This mean the C subway line is out of commission for 3-5 years.

A lot of people are upset.  A friend of mine just said he knows of 4 people looking to leave the country.  For them and for you here who are entertaining the same thoughts, I say: Don't.  I implore you.  6 years ago, this country was considered a pretty great place to live.  It can be again.  It can even be better.
